juc25
I'm little confused about this section since there are only 5 awards that we can put in. I heard that if scholarships, awards are on your official transcript, then you don't have to write them again in the academic awards section. Can anyone verify this? FlunkingWithStyle
You heard wrong... This is where you should mention your top 5 awards, period. The folks over at admissions have to go through 1,800 applications and they probably won't take the extra time to rummage through your transcript, etc., to see if you got additional awards that you didn't mention in this section. Cheers!
dan0105
I'm with flunkingwithstyle on this one, they don't give a s***. If it isn't plainly written in your five I'm certain they are never going to look at it. I doubt the person who looks at the transcripts for grade point averages and such would even be the same person who looks at all your NAQ stuff so its going to get lost along the way if its there in the transcript regardless... If you got the same award more than once tho (like the same scholarship each year), just put it down in the blurb, put the total for all of them, and bang, you just got like 7 in there for the price of 5. EmmaF
Why is there no place for a verifier in the academic awards section?
