Do American Medical Schools care about summer grades?

Greetings,

 

First off, I did a search for "summer" in the American Schools section of the forum and came across nothing.

 

I have made a thread similar in nature but that pertained only to Canadian Med Schools, and not American. So I thought I'd have a distinct thread here to keep things organized.

Anyways, back on topic - the title should be self explanatory; I would like to get an idea of whether

 

a) most

some

c) a minority

 

of American med schools take into consideration our summer marks for GPA calculation?

 

If you know any case specific examples, be sure to post it here and preferably provide a link that substantiates the claim so I can sleep better at night.

I'm pretty sure all american schools take summer course grades into consideration when calculating one's GPA.

 

Though, I'm not 100% positive.

US schools take ALL post-secondary courses into consideration. That includes EVERY summer course you've ever taken in college/university.
