sarakj
Hello there, I was wondering whether you can get a reference letter from a staff who is going to be in the interview committee . would not this causes conflict of interest if they try to put good words for you since they have written your ref letter.. thanks Sara Kj Ottawa U ( 2010)
DrKovac
I think its great if you can get a LOR from someone on the admissions committee. But also remember, its a committee so there will be multiple people involved in selection.
0nsp
IMO, it is better to have a letter from someone on the committee. That way, when they evaluate the letter, they know exactly how much the letter is worth because they know the person writing it. If the person looks upon you favorably, that will hold much more sway than another equally good letter from an unknown. Just my 2 cents.
