Guest windymountain2003
Hi, I am currently studying the renal system and would really appreciated some advice on useful renal resources. I am currently halfway through a Vander "Renal Physiology" text, but am not really finding it helpful. Can those of you who have studied the renal/electrolyte system please advise me on good texts or electronic resources? Thanks so much, WM
Guest medicator007
I personally find the renal section in BRS physiogy to be quite useful. Medicator
Guest endingsoon
What school are you at? I just used class notes
Guest kosmo14
I just used classnotes as well. I think with renal, cardio, and resp. if you understand the basic physio. behind each of them then it is easy to understand any of the pathology involved with that system. Therefore a good physiology book will go a long way to understanding the system.
Guest noncestvrai
Koeppen and Stanton, Renal physiology. For me it was a delight for PBL, on top of my class notes. noncestvrai
Guest acropolistica
If you're looking for really basic renal physiology principles, I HIGHLY suggest reading Physiology, 3rd Ed. by Costanzo. It's published by Lippincott, W, and W. I hadn't a clue what the heck the kidney did. Then I read through that once and I had it down. It's a great book.
