Rach
Hey guys. I need help. Have any of you managed to apply to med school in the US despite not having the necessary "science" reference letters? I posted here http://www.premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30611 (sorry for posting again but I did as was suggested and emailed a few schools but I haven't heard back yet). I'm a bit nervous about all of this b/c if in fact I can't use non-science profs, or employers as my references, then I will have to take a biochem course starting in january in the hopes that this prof will be able to provide one of the letters come may. Since I likely won't hear back from the schools before school starts, I have to make a blind decision about the biochem course starting in a few weeks.... Any help would be appreciated! Rach
Thanks for the info Maple. I'm hoping more schools will be lenient with their requirements.
