canucklehead11
I can't remember exactly but I remember reading somewhere that the scores for the Feb DAT are usually higher. It sounds like a myth but could it be true? Are the scores higher because of people who retake after the Nov DAT or does it have something to do with the exam? My RC and PAT scores are a bit low so I'm thinking of retaking the DAT and was wondering if I should take it this feb or the next nov which I could study over the summer. jdent
I would also like someone to comment on this Feb DAT situation. You hear a lot of people say that they studied less in feb and did better than the nov but is it really the case. If anyone can explain please do. jdent
Intrepid
The DAT is a standardized exam whose difficulty should not be varying considerably between different administrations. The Feb DAT is not easier. It's just that many who report doing well have already taken it once before (in November). So the 2nd time through they might go in more relaxed/more confident/more knowledgeable and consequently score higher, giving the impression that the Feb DAT is easier when it's not.
