Experiences Showing Self Reliance

Hello All,

I am starting to organize my application for next year and I was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice when it comes to self reliant experiences? I am not sure what they are looking for or what possible activites apply in this area and any help would be greatly appreciated!

anyways. one example of self-reliance would be if u worked to support urself or put urself thru school.

i'm not asking early to make sure i finish my application on time but to instead have something to place on my application.

Maybe a directed studies course? Or have you led anything that you weren't supervised?

 

Just try to think of things that you have done where the onus was on you, where you had to get something done and you had no one looking over your shoulder. Maybe even a project for yourself that required a sustained effort or difficulty that you came through in.

Why don't you just give three more days before putting together your application again?

I understand how you feel though - I'm also bracing myself for the possibility of rejection.

thanks for your suggestions deanis, i appreciate it. i will think about it more and see what i can come up with.

i am finding it hard to be positive about my last application and therefore feel the most productive thing to do is plan for the next cycle. plus i am rather busy so involvement in something else requires planning.
