Rach
Hey all, I am considering taking 2 summer courses as well as studying for the MCAT full-time this summer. Do you think this is doable or is it too much? --Hope Very doable I would say. Many people on the site have said they studied during full-time work so I'm guessing 2 courses will not be anywhere near as time-consuming as that. If you scan this thread you will see people had a lot going on while they were studying for the MCAT. http://www.premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30802
imagine
I did this last summer, wasn't too bad. Are your courses related to MCAT topics? If so, this could be to your advantage.
rainman
It is possible but I think it's important that you evaluate your own capacity before making a decision and not go by what others have done. Some people have more efficient studying habits than others.
tallguy81
All about time micro-management! Started studying for the January MCAT AFTER the xmas break, while taking 5 courses. That meant studying on the bus, during lunch/supper/breakfast, before bedtime, 10min breaks between classes (sometimes during the easy classes), etc etc. My prep books rarely left my hands. Still felt very ready for the real thing. Anything is possible
