shredthegnar
Hi, so I'm new to the forum because I was just accepted to med school, but I do know some things about rural medicine coming from a rural area and working for a rural recruitment program. I think rural medicine is awesome. You get to do tons of things because there are few specialists, there's never a shortage of patients (good or bad thing), and when your going to Timmie's in the morning you know half of the people in there as patients/friends/colleagues. Also, depending on where your living the opportunity for outdoor adventures, sports, and recreation are amazing in small town Ontario.
