Guest krnboy
For university of Toronto students... let's say your grade is 92%...how would that be converted to GPA for med schools?
Guest peachy
You need to convert each individual grade to a GPA out of 4.0. You then average each of these individual grades to get an overall grade out of 4.0. This thread has a link to the conversion table. Schools outside of Ontario may use different conversion tables. The answer to your question specifically, though, is that there is no way to tell what 92% converts to. Generally, if you have a 92% average, your GPA is going to be pretty good. But the exact GPA can vary a lot. If you took two courses, and had 92 in both, your GPA would be a 4.0. If you took two courses, and had 84 and 100, for an average of 92, then your GPA would be the average of 3.7 and 4.0, ie 3.85.

Guest peachy
It's a good goal, but not something to get stressed over. Virtually nobody gets over 90 in every course they take in university. You don't need a 4.0 GPA to get into medical school; as long as your grades are pretty good, your extracurriculars, essay, and interview matter a whole lot more at any Ontario school.
