Hygienist needs answers on how to become dentist!

Recommended Posts

I currently have a diploma in Dental Hygiene, 3 years of university outside my diploma. I have all the prerequisites for admission to most schools. I am 28 years of age and currently in my 5th year as a Dental hygienist. My cumulative GPA is 3.4 and my last two years are 3.6 and a 3.6 in Sciences. Can anyone tell me if I would be competitive at Dalhousie or any other Dental School. Just like everyone else, I really want to become a dentist but am not sure if its possible?
