In the 102 page pdf AMCAS manual, it explains all the boxes, and in addition, for the advanced placement box, it shows that it can be used for things that aren't really advanced placement. One of the things is "experimental learning" (page 49). So should I tick off the AP box for my 4th year project course? 2) I took a first year non credit course. It was called "first year learning community" and it was just weekly meetings between 20-30 or so first year students to help us through the process. It shows up on the transcript.
