Guest C Lichtman
Now that I didn't get into my only school with an interview, I need to determine if I hsould write the MCAT again. I have 9/10/11 P. I was wondering how the MCAT is weighed in the decision at UofT?
Guest UWOMED2005
I probably should let a U of T student answer this one considering you've probably had enough of reading my posts in the UWO forum ( ), but my understanding is that U of T uses the MCAT as a FLAG only. In other words, as long as you make their minimums (8/8/8/N,) which you do, the MCAT has no further part in the application process. It is also my understanding, though, that GPA is weighted heavier at U of T than at other schools. I personally know of someone who had an interview at U of T with a 3.71 GPA, but most of the people I know who interviewed or were accepted there had a GPA >3.8.
