neuronix
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone is planning to put in abstracts, papers, or presentations in which they are NOT first author (I guess this pertains moreso to abstracts). I have a few iabstracts n which I am second author and I not sure as to the weight they have. Can anyone shed some light on this?
future_doc
Although I have no knowledge in this area, it makes sense that you would include this as being entirely appropriate.
mattg
If it were me, I would include that in a second... Weren't you involved in the research, in which case you can write a bit about what you did/contributed in the details, and then just list the name of the published abstract in the top of the details? I have multiple research positions listed in which nothing at all was published, as most people do I believe...
Potter
I am definitely including second author abstracts etc
neuronix
new questions: 1) I have a abstract (poster) accepted for an international conference. Thing is...it's in October. Should I put it in OMSAS? or is that cheating? 2) I recently submitted a paper to a journal...I'm probably not going to know the results of the review until October as well...should I put in OMSAS? What would YOU do?
ChicoMaki
1) mention that the abstract has been accepted for poster presentation at XYZ conference in October 2009 2) Mention that the article has been submitted to a journal and that's it. Potter
I'm in the same boat, and I am mentioning both in the sketch
shannn
Would anyone bother mentioning a poster that was submitted for a conference but was turned down? I was 2nd author on that poster, but, it didn't fly
