HBP
What if I started an activity (say: Varsity Basketball) from when I was much younger than 16, but this activity carried on yearly until I was over 16? Do I only list the 16->x part? Or should I start from the beginning->x?

shannn
I would personally put it from the beginning when you originally started (well, that is what I put for some of my hobbies like bball) IMO it shows commitment to the activity (i.e. time to practice, play, do drills, etc...) Halcyon
What if I started an activity (say: Varsity Basketball) from when I was much younger than 16, but this activity carried on yearly until I was over 16? Do I only list the 16->x part? Or should I start from the beginning->x? You could put the actual start date to end date, even if that start date happened before you were sixteen. Last year, I had an activity I included on my OMSAS-list that I had begun when I was fourteen and I have continued with to the present. I chose to add it b/c it showed a diversity of experiences. Good luck!
mig174
I'd imagine that's what people who play musical instruments have to do.
