TimHortons
hey everyone, so in my first year 1st semester, I didn't know about med schools requiring full-time course load. Thus, I took 4 full-credits (i.e. biology/chem/phys/genetics) but I dropped 1 of the courses. However, I took 2 labs that term. Thus, I took 4 full-credit (0.5) and 2 half credits (0.25) But because I took 2 labs, does this make that year a full-time? Im worried because UT says for ppl in 2nd year "GPA will be calculated using grades from all courses completed on a full-time basis during the two completed years of university" 1) Does this mean that my first semester will NOT count??? 2) Also, does this mean that the Weighing Formula will NOT APPLY in my case, even next year?? (after taking full time in 2nd, 3rd year) Thank you!
Prothrombin
IAs long as you take 5 credits per year you should be ok. I believe 4 courses 1st semester and 6 courses 2nd semester still counts as a full course load for the year.
