Possible way to choose preferred MCAT score?

If you have written the MCAT and release your score when you submit your OMSAS application in Aug, then re-write in early Sep but don't go back and release those scores, will OMSAS receive the most recent scores anyways? In other words, is this a possible way to re-write without sacrificing your prior score (for that given cycle)? Or, does AAMC wait until Oct for all scores before sending any out. Thoughts?

 

I would really like to get in to Mac but with a 3.66 GPA I expect I will need better than my current VR10 to be competitive. On the other hand, to score higher I would have to land above the 85th percentile and I'm scared of losing my currently decent score... Yikes!
