Have I fixed myself up enough?

I've tried my best to make myself look pretty to medical schools. The problem: in my younger years university I didn't do well at all, mainly with low B's, a lot of C's, some D's, and a few F's - I think I left with a 2.48 GPA on the 4.0 scale. Since then I've returned to university and raised that GPA to 3.0; completed another degree through the Canadian military college with a 3.6 GPA; working with the Canadian Forces for a few years; and am planning on making a start at, or completing, a Master's degree during the next couple of years left of my contract. Haven't done the MCAT yet, but I will.

Do you think I've prettied myself up well enough to get me into a Canadian Medical school? Any opinion is great. Thanks.

I personally think that it would be a great challenge to get into Mcgill with that background..why are you specifically aiming for Canadian schools? Why dont you try elsewhere?

Yes it is. I think in order to have a good chance of getting into a Canadian school you should try to bring your GPA to at least 3.4-3.5 and also try to get some volunteer or lab research experience.
