The Bank of Ireland charges ~8 Euros when they accept your wire transfer. I did not know about this charge and thus did not add it to my deposit amount and so the Bank of Ireland deducted this charge from my university deposit before forwarding it to the school (UCD). UCD told me not to worry about it, I'll just have to add that amount to my outstanding balance. Anyway, it is something to keep in mind when you make your next wire transfer!
