hopesUp8
Hi, I am presently majoring in Maths at UDM, hoping to apply for Medicine once I obtain my undergraduate degree. I was simply wondering...regarding the basic science requirements posted on the site, it says they have to be completed at a university level. However, at CEGEP, I was in Health Science, and I have completed all of these courses (Biology, Physics, Organic Chemistry...) Is it enough? These credits are transfered on my official transcript, so I guess there shouldn't be a problem...right?
a1b1
yea, you're fine on the pre-reqs
sirop
Yup, you're good. If you want to go in the states however, most require another semester of organic chem and/or a semester of biochem with your prereqs. sirop
hopesUp8
Also, I was wondering...before majoring in Maths at UDM, I studied one year at McGill in Neuroscience...do you have any idea how will McGill calculate my GPA after I finish my Bachelor in Maths at UDM? Will Neuroscience be included? Basically, I will have 30 credits from Neuroscience, and 90 credits in Maths...so I'm a little confused on how everything will be calculated. Thanks again for your help!!
sirop
I'm not sure, best to call them. I would think they'd count everything even your neuroscience creds but then again, I'm not the person to ask. A phone call will clear the situation. sirop
