I know that french med school grads have the option of entering CARMS, but most don't. How do they pursue specialist training? Is there a separate "CARMS" like matching system for them?

Hey physiology,

You're right. French schools do have their own residency matching service. I'm not sure about McGill, if they can participate or not, being a Quebec school but an anglophone one:rolleyes

I'm close to 100% certain.. but I am under the impression that McGill is eligible to participate in that match.... i have heard of McGill students matching to such residencies though I do not know all the details.

Quebecboy,

Interesting - so do you live in Quebec City with your girlfriend?

It's a great city - I was at a Cabane a Sucre last time.

It was awesome!
