I know there is a thread for OSAP loan forgiveness, stating that anything over and above $7000 per year ($3500 per term) is forgiven so long as your income stated was correct. Does the same sort of thing apply to Alberta student loans? Does anyone know if it makes a difference if you get bursary money as well? Thanks! chuck62 Posted June 21, 2010 Report Share Posted June 21, 2010 your best bet is to call the number found on the ALIS website under the student funding link. they'll have all the answers and not just hearsay. but no, normally student loans don't account for bursaries up to a certain amount. i dont know what that amount is though.
