Transfer back to Canada?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible for someone who did 1 or even 2 years in an international school (i.e Ireland/Aussie..etc) to transfer back to a Canadian school without going through the regular application process? Even if we have to start from 1st year again... What about to the US?

There's nothing stopping you from applying to medical school in Canada, but you'd be accepted the same as any other applicant into year 1. The US does on rare occasions take advanced standing students into 3rd year or sometimes make them repeat 2nd year, but I've only heard of that happening for US citizens.
