Does McGill offer conditional admissions for Bachelor Students?

Is it possible to apply to the MDCM after I finish the 5th Semester out 6? I'm sort of confused on how the system work.

 

Registration deadline for individuals with bachelors degree is on January 15, but I won't be graduating until later in the year.

 

Ergo, I would imagine that if accepted, it would be a conditional admission.

 

Can someone clarify? Does the admission process function like the CEGEP Med-P where admissions are conditional, or will I have to take a gap year and apply on the next rounds?

Check with adcoms. To my knowledge, what you are seelking doesn't exist or perhaps, I don't understand your question.

 

In the normal course, students apply while they are in their last year of undergrad and, if selected for interview, find out that they have been accepted at the time of graduation. I presume if they don't graduate, they don't go to med school - so perhaps, it is a conditional acceptance in your parlance.

 

In summary, if you are in your last year of UG, apply in early January and hope for the best. GL!
