Urgent: Length of Each Actiivity

I noticed that for Dalhousie there is no word limit stated for activities. so in general, how long are your descriptions for each activity? is it well within 50 words? (200-300 characters?)

I thought we were only advised to include a short description; someone mentioned to not put more than something like "Microbiology Teaching Assistant"? I remember someone saying that on this forum. 500 characters seems like alot more than what they asked for.

Actually, I should've been more clear.

It doesn't say anywhere that the character count is 500. I found that out in a roundabout way. I started filling in the supplemental, and when I went to save it so I could work on it later, it said that one or more of my activities had exceeded 500 characters.

500 does seem a lot (compared to UBC's app), but I only used up to the maximum character limit for two of my medically related job experiences. The rest of the activities were well below 500.

I wouldn't put more than 1 or 2 lines of description. If you put too much it makes a long read for your reviewer.
