MDStudent Posted September 23, 2010 Report Share Posted September 23, 2010 Here's what I've discovered so far: seldom happens, requires spot to open through attrition, transfer to 3 year is out if you're coming from a 4 year program, must apply in spring for most schools, decision in June/July usually, must meet original admissions requirements for that school, must have compelling reason, generally requires interview with Dean at transfer school, and best odds are once done MS-2 (ie apply for start of MS-3, so spring of MS-2 year) All that said, does anyone have any direct experience/info on successful transfer from one Cdn med school to another?
