covarubious Posted January 9, 2011 Report Share Posted January 9, 2011 I have to joy of doing all the work of a masters while in my undergrad with little of the benefit. lol I have been volunteering in my profs lab working on a $60000 research grant app to the WSIB which we managed to get (wee us!) and am now the RA (paid) on the project (meaning I do all the work lol) while finishing my last year of classes, tutoring and holding down two other jobs. wee. lol I am hoping I get at least some publication experience out of this. I have presented a poster and at a seminar we had on it and will be doing another presentation on it in class later this semester… I had heard though that research and publications aren’t as important for your app as they are for residency… What do you guys think?
