xkittens
I'm applying for a summer research position and I don't know how to start with the cover letter. What information am I supposed to outline and what is the purpose of the cover letter supposed to be? I honestly don't know what to write, and I have zero research experience as I'm sure you can tell.

charmer08
I'm tired of repeating the same thing over and over. Please do a search I actually used the same cover letter for the research job I have now and for any other job I've ever applied. The purpose of the cover letter is usually the same unless they specify what they want. If you're stuck, try google search to see some sample cover letters to have some idea on how to get started.
