iwonder
Hello, I'm a fourth year student beginning residency in July. We are looking into getting a house and I need to provide some sort of proof I will have an income. I am completely clueless about where my money comes from in residency. Can anyone tell me who exactly pays Ontario medical residents and who where I would access an employment contract of some sort? Thanks for any insight! There is a pile of paperwork that your school will send you that you need to complete before starting residency. Somewhere in this stack is your offer of employment, and that is what the bank wants (or at least mine did).
fkennedy115
You could also contact the PGME office to ask if they would write you a letter in advance confirming your employment and salary. Most will.
