CDent2010
Hi everyone, There isn't a lot of information on these forums about the 2 french dental schools (Laval and Montreal). I am fully bilingual and am applying to those 2 as well. Do any of you have any information regarding: when those schools send out interview invitation? the type of interview? the points they give to different parts of the application? Thanks. CDent2010
ive always wonder how many spots they have U of montreal is the largest faculty in Canada with 86 spots, not sure about ULaval. However, for montreal, the spots are distributed amongst the 1st year of the Doc and the preparation year.
Nefertari
At Université de Montréal there is no interview; only your grades count. But you also have to write a motivation letter. At Université Laval there is an interview, and they usually invite candidates in April I think.

(ex: 50% gpa, 20% motivational letter, etc.)
Benito
Once you pass the DAT (easy), it's 100% grades. They will read the letter and if it totally sucks, they will dismiss you. Otherwise there's no difference between a stellar letter and an average one.
