backup318
I know that the AMCAS Conversion Guide has a section specifically for Canadian universities, and I go to UWO, so I would have to use one of the percentage conversions, but which one do I use since there are 4 percentage scales?! Also, I'm guessing that these scales mean that for UWO, 80+ no longer equals a 4.0? Anyone I call has no clue so I'd really appreciate some help. backup318
That info seems to be outdated. Just wondering if anyone has any updated information from this past cycle?

backup318
Do you mean the 4.0 = 84-100% scale?
Illuminis
When I applied in 2009, 80%+ was a 4.0 in AMCAS. It's changed?
nwhyte3
Hi Everyone, I am a UWO grad and I am happy to verify that 80+ = 4.0 for western students. This appears to be a random loop hole because it doesn't workout for U of T or McGill students. In my 3rd years I had all marks above 80 and on my AMCAS application it shows I had a 4.0 GPA for that year. When the schools see this they automatically assume you got above 90 in everything it looks really impressive. My interviewers were all happy to see straight 4.0 in my 3rd year and so was I.
