Withdrawing from second course

Recommended Posts

I'm in my spring semester of my third undergraduate year and hope to be admitted into optometry starting September 2012, and am submitting my application hopefully by the end of August. I'm in Organic Chem II this semester, and it's the third week, and I got 35% on my first test. The midterm is in less than two weeks and I just cannot grasp anything. It's been two years since I took the first one (or any hardcore science at all for that matter since I switched to psychology). It makes me cry every single night, for real. I really really do not want to withdraw since I already have a withdraw from ecology and I think a withdraw in my last year makes me look like a coward, but I don't know what else to do, it seems like a lost cause. I should also mention that I feel like I'm also at a loss with optometry schools because I want to go to Berkeley (top choice)... but according to past stats, they're not big fans of international students (?)

What do y'all think I should do?
