cokezero
How do reference letters, extra-curricular activities, and research experience factor into the McMaster application? From their weighting formula on their website it looks like these things aren't considered at all...
SolitaireAddikt
Extracurricular activities and research are not used explicitly in the Mac application. However, these experiences can help you with your CASPer responses and in your MMI stations. Reference letters I'm not so sure about, but I was told they are used if there is a "red flag" in one of your CASPer responses, and they are apparently also used as a tie-breaker in case two people have the exact same score (post-interview I'm assuming). Otherwise they aren't looked at.
