zunik
Alright, so my cGPA is in the B+ range (78%) ~3.3 -3.4 I have a good amount of long term volunteering including international and some research experience. Which schools should I apply to so at least I would have an interview chance?

deathvvv
We need to know your MCAT. But with that GPA, you need at least 32 to apply to the low tier US schools (assuming amazing extra curriculars).
RichardParker
I am not sure if you still need advice on picking your schools, but if you do consider using the LizzyM formula, invented by LizzyM over at SDN. Briefly, it involves multiplying your cGPA by 10 and adding that to your MCAT. eg 3.75/30 will give you a LizzyM score of 67.5. Compare that to your school of interest (using their median/mean score) to see if you are competitive or not. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmKVGWwobG5GdEx2MjlBTDE0bXFXNGFZczZqYTZKb2c&hl=en_US#gid=0 Download the above file as excell and fill in your stats. Does that spreadsheet apply equally to Canadians?
