mniglas
Hi everyone, My name is Mark and I'm in my last year of the MD program at McMaster. I would like to offer up an opportunity to get involved in a project that will have real benefit to learners in Oncology. We are currently developing an iPhone/iPad app that will act as a reference for Radiation Oncologists in the planning stages of individual radiation treatment plans. Basically, what we need is someone with skills in programming for iOS who will be able to write the code for the app. We want to be able to smoothly scroll through the images in a CT scan sequence, as well as being able to toggle text on and off. If you have the skillset to be able to do something like this, please contact me at mark.niglas (at) medportal.ca. Benefits of helping us out include: -Getting your name acknowledged on a poster at the national radiation oncology conference in Winnipeg this September -Getting exposure to a very interesting and innovative field of medicine -Networking with medical students, residents and doctors -Beefing up your CV -Payment for your work can be negotiated to some degree We also hope to get to know you well through this process, and would be happy to write you a strong reference letter if we see a strong work ethic/good personality. Thanks for reading! Mark Niglas
