ontariomed0002
Hey everyone, Just was curious and thought of starting a tread on how many schools everyone applied to through AMCAS initially vs. how many secondaries are you aiming to submit once they all start rolling in since this seems to be a common question on the forum? For me the stats were: AMCAS - 19 Schools Aiming for around 10-15 secondaries - probably end up somewhere in the middle as the dollars start to leave my bank account
reflex
lol then why would you apply to 19 schools if you're only aiming to submit so few secondaries?? you're wasting money.
ontariomed0002
i was originally in a different financial situation that suddenly changed where I now have to be careful with spending over the next couple months .. i can always finish the secondaries that I'm gonna leave out for the time being after my finances go back to normal in september the ones I decided to leave out that I submitted the primary for are: Meharry Oakland UMaryland UMinnesota UConnecticut - I'm not a minority applicant and it doesn't seem like many people apply to the last three on that list for some reason so I feel ok about eliminating these
