Summer Courses

Phantom Phoenix,

In assessing GPS McGill uses the CGPA system which is calculated as follows:

Sum of (Course credit x grade points)/ Sum of GPA course credits

According to the calendar: The CGPA will be the grade point average calculated using the student's entire record at McGill at the same level (Emphasis added by me)

As far as I know this means that summer courses are counted in the CGPA, then again, I'm only a student and the final answer can be had by emailing or calling the wonderful folks at admissions.

Hope that helps, post here if there is anything else!

Summer courses will count in your CGPA, but it is important to remember that your pre-reqs MUST be taken suring your non-summer semesters during a full course load.
