sharpshooter
I think I'm going to finish my content review by this Monday, leaving little time to do all the practices tests for my Aug 23 test date. I'm planning to do my last practice test 2 days before my test date. If I only have enough time to do 6 of the 7 practices tests (AAMC practice tests 4-5,7-11. I already did #3), which practices tests should I write and in what order for the most benefit? I read somewhere that some of the practice tests are more representative than others. If necessary, I can do the other practice test I skip if have to rewrite (hopefully not!). Thank you very much!
ameltingbanana
I think I heard somewhere that 7/8 are considered the most difficult - personally I found 11 pretty challenging, so you might want to do that one for sure. I'd get those ones done before your test date so you don't get discouraged if you get a lower-than-expected score haha.
MamboVipi
do you have to pay for these tests? If so, how much and where do I sign up? Also just wondering if you have the option to print them out or if they must be done online?
miss_q
google emcat...u can create username and password from there and pay by visa or master card. You have both options, online or on paper, but I prefer online because it mimics the real thing

ubcMDhopeful
You can try this site:http://chrismcatstuff.tripod.com/ WOW awsome site I like its solutions - much better than what TPR provides. EDIT: To OP , all I know is that AAMC 3 is the easy one and AAMC 7 , 8 and 11 are the hard ones. So far I have only done 5 and 1 and I found both of them to be easier than the questions in the review books.
mangos
You can try this site:http://chrismcatstuff.tripod.com/ how come the aamcs on here are different from the ones on emcat?
neoteny
AAMC 3 is the easy one. The later ones (7/8/9) are more representative of the real thing, but again, don't be fooled into thinking that your score on those will translate into the actual thing. My advice would be to practice the later tests and identify your weak areas to review. I found the actual MCAT to be more difficult than any of the AAMC practice tests. sharpshooter
how come the aamcs on here are different from the ones on emcat? I am wondering if they're the same tests (administered same time), but the ones on emcat were cut short for the new shorter test.

Iluvsoccer
so the ones given in the link are NOT the same as what you get on emcat? I looked at test 3 and it had the same questions as the one given in the link. Can someone who has been doing the online versions have a look at these full lengths and advise? Thanks
anxious1818
the aamc tests on this site are longer versions.. I looked at AAMC test 4 and most of the questions from the long version are in the emcat version though
