I wouldn't bother applying and I wouldn't bother rewriting the MCAT either with that gpa. If medschool is what you really want, you might want to come back for a year and raise that gpa. Schools know what consists of a good pub rather than cranking out whatever so for your sake, I do hope you are the former. I disagree with the above poster. I think a high MCAT can compensate a low GPA. You should aim for about 35. Raising GPA at this stage is too hard and will take years. Focus on the MCAT and it'll give you a fighting chance.
