Guest melNB
The list is as follows: (1) Holiday Inn St. John's $87/night (2)Quality Inn St. John's $89/night (3)The Battery Hotel & Suites St. John's $67/night (4) The Delta St. John's Hotel $147/night (5) Gower House $59/night (6) Abba Inn $69/night These rates apply to medical school applicants. Has anyone stayed at any of these? Or has anyone booked already?
Guest Madz25
Holiday Inn is always a safe bet. I've never stayed at a totally horrible Holiday Inn before. Madz
Guest yves m
The Holiday Inn is pretty good and is kind of in the center of the airport, downtown and the med school. Airport taxis have a flat rate of $10-15 (I think) to the Holiday Inn and it is a $10 cab ride to downtown and probably $8 to the med school. The Quality Inn, The Battery and The Delta are all in the downtown region. They are all pretty nice and I wouldn't hesitate staying at any of them. The Battery is a bit older and more out of the way but it is good enough. The Delta is a 2 minute walk to George St. but its extra price isn't really worth it. If you want to stay DT, I would probably stay at the Quality Inn. I don't think I would bother with the other 2. If you want a low price go to the Battery. If I was going to choose one, I'd go to the Holiday Inn. Most of it is newly renovated and the restaurant there (Eastside Mario's) is pretty good. It's food prices are good as well. If you are very interested in location, check it out at mapquest.
