byebicycle
Hey guys, I was just wondering what are some of the courses I should take along with my prerequisites in my first two years of university. If I keep a full course load in both years, I will need to pick 7 option courses that are not the required courses for U of A dentistry. Any suggestions? Thanks
zap_man99
depends at what youre good at and if you really think youre going to get in after 2 years. I would suggest not taking all those 7 option courses during 1st or 2nd year. But play to your strengths. math, psych, soc, econ are all good options imo

byebicycle
This is what it says on the U of A dentistry website: "The minimum requirement for admission to the DDS Program is the satisfactory completion of *60 of transferable postsecondary work (10 full year course equivalents or 20 half year course equivalents), of which *30 (5 full year course equivalents or 10 half year course equivalents) must be taken during one Fall/Winter (a Fall/Winter academic year is September to April inclusive). zap_man99
Basically, 5 courses a semester without summer school is a full course load
