tms
I am a non-trad (been out of school for a couple of years and working). I am now planning on applying for medicine but I lack a couple of pre-reqs for US schools. As I work full-time, I will have to go back to school for those pre-reqs. I was initially considering online courses but have found out that some US schools will not count online courses and doing a couple of science courses online will probably not be a good idea as I need the lab component as well. So, I am now looking at doing those courses on campus. I was wondering if there would be any issue in taking the courses on a pass/fail basis. Due to my workload, I don't think that I will be able to put in the hours necessary to get really good grades so would like to complete them on a pass/fail basis. Before I commit to this, I want to know if there may be an issue with that. Has anyone else completed pre-req courses on a pass/fail basis and gained acceptance?
