some guy
Hey everybody, I need some advice I applied to be a physics and chemistry TA. Chemistry is the one that i really want to do and physics is a backup. I just found out that i got the physics TA position, and all i have to do is accept. I won't know whether I got the chemistry TA until after the deadline for physics acceptance. Should I take the physics TA and forget about chemistry, or turn down the physics and hope for chemistry (and risk not getting it)? Thanks in advance
thehumanmacbook
Just ask them when they need a reply for acceptance and then wait until that deadline.
future_doc
^ Right. And if you have to, accept - if the other comes along, then apologize and decline, they won't hang you. Do what you have to in your own best interests.
