I intend on applying for the medical course in neer future. My reason is to gain the skills and knowlege to integrate my cell-biological/biochemical background with clinical applications. Yet, I cannot get past the feeling that a physician's job (or surgeon's for that matter) has a more base appeal to me and to the populace that covets it. To further understand the appeal of this vocation to us all, I would like to ask you all the following, allready over-posed, question:

Why are you applying, intend on applying or are already accepted, to study medicine.

The only difference here is, you are not accountable. Noone will reject you because your reasons are shallow or not creative enough. Please, help us all understand the gravity of a medical degree. Thanks in advance..
