Three elements of your CV

I was wondering if headings should be placed for each of the three elements or should you just write it as 3 paragraphs. I think a heading tells the reader exactly which element you used from your CV but it also disrupts the flow (if any) and eats away at the word count of the already limited space.

 

Also, does the 1900 character limit include the space between words as well?

Headings not used, unnecessary and 1,900 characters include spaces.

I just wrote 3 paragraphs.

 

You actually get slightly more than 1900 chars because new lines count as characters (they are characters -- such as thing as a newline character exists in computing science). So they give some bonus characters so that you can add lines to space out paragraphs within your highlights.

Thanks for the advice, removing headers saved me the headache of cutting it down. =)

Is it ok to borrow heavily from the personal narrative here, or will they notice and frown upon you recycling your own material?

^ I really don’t think that it matters. An applicant would only have a few significant experiences, having overlap b/w CV highlights and narrative is only normal.

I meant wording/phrasing, not necessarily that the activities highlighted are the same
