CaRMS 2012 Interview Invite Thread

hmahal - so far from this thread and from friends, the schools that have sent out gen sx interview invites are:

dalhousie

laval

mcgill

u of alberta

ubc

 

none others that i've heard so far, but i'm prob. just as nervous as you are - so cross fingers and keep posted here i guess! :)

i have heard that they are much slower than FM/paeds/IM so patience i guess??

Just wondering, what's a safe number of FP interviews that one should go to such that will almost for sure to guarantee a spot? I only apply ON and BC.

Are you studying in Canada or US?

 

For CMG's studying in Canada, I think 4 is probably the magic number, but for US grads I would go to as many interviews as possible to maximize my chances.
