I know each program is unique somehow and candidates have to decide which one meets their needs but which ones have that reputation thing attached to them? Which ones are considered "strongest"? Gremlin Posted June 1, 2012 Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 The lack of responses to any of the ophthalmology threads either indicates (to me anyway) that it's either sooooooo competitive that no one wants to share ANYTHING, or that there's limited interest in the field. zmanutdz Posted June 2, 2012 Report Share Posted June 2, 2012 I am really not sure if there are really 'strong' versus 'weak' programs. I would say some programs are more academic-oriented than others but all generally offer excellent training opportunities overall. Also, the specialty is very competitive that usually everyone is just happy to match with location/program being a secondary consideration in most cases.
