Premeds,

 

Are you interested in medicine? Would you like to learn more medically-related knowledge on your spare time? Are you interested in gaining extra volunteering experience?

 

We are a website dedicated to providing education resources regarding sexually transmitted diseases and their prevention, and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in helping out with the website.

 

Qualities we look for are...

- Motivation

- Self-directed, Independent learning

- Some computer skills

- An interest in the medical field

 

As a volunteer, you will have opportunity to write articles and newspiece for us to publish on the website. Time committment per week is approximately 1-2 hours (varies).

 

Benefits of volunteering:

- Learn more about sexually transmitted diseases and their prevention

- Become an educator on the topic and help prevent the spread of diseases

- We will provide personalized letters of recommendation to those who volunteer for us*
