flora14 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 Yes good luck to all this weekend, thinking of you! You will all be great!
jojoluvsu2 Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Whoohoo us! I hope everyone has a fantastic experience, and I hope to meet many of my future, wonderful classmates
Dream_Bigger Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Good luck folks! I'll be thinking of you all this weekend. From reading the board the last few weeks its absolutely awing to see the caliber and diversity of people interviewing. Here's to your next step!
lekarza Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Good luck to anyone who is interviewing this weekend! I wish you all the best of luck. If you are interviewing in Sudbury on Sunday I will see you there
Real Beef Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 For those interviewing on Sunday dont say to the interviewer of a hard question "This is an April fool's joke right? where is the easier question?" .... humor may not take you far in the MMI!
lekarza Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 For those interviewing on Sunday dont say to the interviewer of a hard question "This is an April fool's joke right? where is the easier question?" .... humor may not take you far in the MMI! Actually my game plan was that if I was answering a question really badly and noticed horrified looks from the interviewer I would stop what I was saying and say 'April Fools!' I wonder if that would fly haha
eternalkeener Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 GOOD LUCK! I hope you are my future classmates, pm101ers! My interview in TBay was such a positive experience and everyone made sure we were comfortable. I hope it is the same for all of you this weekend in Sudbury!!
Real Beef Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 GOOD LUCK! I hope you are my future classmates, pm101ers! My interview in TBay was such a positive experience and everyone made sure we were comfortable. I hope it is the same for all of you this weekend in Sudbury!! I agree NOSM was very friendly; from the med students doing their rounds to make us feel more at ease pre-interview, Dr. Strasser giving his best to the group pre-interview, some of the friendly interviewers being gentle in their approach to the post interview tour. It was a top notch performance on NOSM's part. Any uneaseness felt by me was purely situational and internally fabricated not from anything the NOSM interviewers/representatives did. By the time of this post the morning Sudbury crew will be done and the afternoon crew well into the procss of the MMI. Exciting stuff! I have been day dreaming quite a bit about the whole admission-acceptance thing ... LOL .... I am hoping that this will tone down over the next week or two so I can get back to being fully productive at work;)

I wonder if that would fly haha as long as the school doesn't say April Fools, you don't really have an interview! haha
lekarza Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 phew what a tiring day! I'm glad the interviews over though so now I can focus on exams. I hope everyone is happy with their performance on the interview... and now we wait!!! Best of luck to everyone!
Real Beef Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 It is a mentally draining day for sure. After my NOSM MMI I developed a headache and was pretty worn for the evening. I am sure my brain was more metabolically active in that 1 hr 40 minutes than it is in a whole typical week
proteinaceous Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 I agree with you Real Beef, headache for the rest of the day. I had a blast though!
lekarza Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 ya definitely agreed! I only got about 4 hours of sleep the night before the interview so after the interview I was useless. Though I must say the interview flew by! I had no idea time could move that fast!
