jingles
Hi, I am a interested in applying to McGill but would like to know if studying in Quebec limits one to completing residency or working in Quebec. I would be nice to know options and limitations while looking into this process. Thanks for any information or resources.
justletmein
No. You can do residency anywhere you want.
feversugar
No. You can do residency anywhere you want. Ditto, nothing more to say lol. It is my understanding that you can apply for residency independently from where you studied (all/any other universities you are interested in). 1234
Yes, you can do residency anywhere. Based on pure percentages, people often stay at their own school because all schools like their own students (barring a few exceptions). So, if you have a school where you really want to do residency, I would go there for medical school (easier to build a connection, residencies often give preference to their own medical students).
